ABOUT MY REPERTOIRE - March 30, 2012
The selections I list here represent work from 2004 to 2012 only. That is when I returned to organ playing after a long absence of 40 years! During medical training and practice, time for music was limited and except for a brief resurgence in 1978 to perform and record, I didn't play again until 20 years later. In 1998 I went to Germany and performed/recorded in Tubingen. A year later I returned to the University of Oklahoma for a reunion and dedication of the new organ to my teacher, Mildred Andrews. The only recording time available to me was 5:00AM! But I treasure those tapes - they represent my return to the organ. Shortly after that I sold my medical practice and retired in 2000. By 2003, I had relocated to Las Vegas, bought an organ and started practice once again.
All compositions listed here have been performed in concert or recorded in special sessions within the past 8 years and I always have a recital ready to take "on the road".
